Tony Franklin on the Takamine TB10 Bass

Tony Franklin, the widely-respected bass player who rocketed to global acclaim in the early '80s as part of the band The Firm with Jimmy Page and Paul Rogers, has just done a demo video of the Takamine TB10 bass. This unique hybrid crossover instrument has the typical 34" scale of a bass guitar, but has the fingerboard radius of an upright double bass, allowing you to use it like a standard fretless bass guitar or pull out the tailpin extension peg and use it with a bow. Tony's long list of credits beyond The Firm include The Late Show with David Letterman, Whitesnake, David Gilmour, Tony MacAlpine, Roy Harper, Gary Hoey, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and many more. To keep up with everything going on with this icon of bass, visit his web site fretlessmonster.com.

Age does not matter really. Still banging with how he played his bass guitar. By the way, if there is anything at all you require in the way of epoxy flooring and coatings, you know that Port St Lucie Epoxy Garage Floor is the place to come.

That is one handsome bass guitar and with the legend tony playing it was very amazing. Great video. We at Santa Barbara Drywall  and  Santa Clarita drywall  are very happy and would love to recommend this.
