Kirby Kelley at Tone Shop Guitars

Acclaimed blues player Kirby Kelley visited Addison, TX-based Takamine dealer Tone Shop Guitars on March 5 to put on a clinic, and boy, did he! As Guitar Center's "King of the Blues" winner in 2009, Kirby can take his blues-based music in almost any direction, whether it's fingerpicked, using a slide, or doing remarkable lap steel performances. Few people better exemplify what can be done in a solo acoustic setting.

Kirby owns a number of well-loved Takamines and put a few of them through their paces, to the delight of everyone in attendance. Thanks to Kirby the great crew at Tone Shop Guitars for the Takamine love!
