For all the real fans of the legendary Miguel Montoya, founder of the iconic group Miguel y Miguel in 1983 and a pioneer of campiran sierreña music, we have a special surprise. Along with our friends at Gama Music, we're hosting Miguel for a meet-and-greet event on Saturday May 2 at 3PM. Everyone is invited to come talk to this highly influential musician who invented the style of stringing the 12-string guitar in unison pairs rather than octaves. This seemingly simple modification became one of the most influential moments in Regional Mexican music!
