    Takamine sends our sincere congratulations to Musicians Institute Bachelor’s Program student Varad Sahasrabudhe. He is the recipient of the 2021 Takamine Acoustic Guitar Scholarship.

    Varad comes to MI’s Guitar Program from Pune, India with seven years of guitar playing and performing experience in multiple genres including Jazz, R&B, Blues, Rock, and Indie music. When asked what does winning this scholarship award means to him, he shared, “This scholarship is a sort of milestone to me in this period of my music career. This is definitely a help financially. I am stoked to win this, and now on to the next thing.”

    In addition to the financial aid provided toward his tuition, Varad received a Takamine G Series GC6CE. This classical guitar will undoubtedly open some new musical pathways for Varad to explore. Again, congrats to him! You can get more information about Musicians Institute via their web site.
