    We received thousands and thousands of entries to our recent Taka-Mini Summer Sweepstakes, where the winner got their choice of our two great Taka-Mini guitars... the all-mahogany GX11ME or the spruce-topped, sapele backed cutaway GX18CE. But there could be only one winner, and it's Steve Baloga of Massapequa Park, NY.

    Steve chose the GX18CE, but either of the Taka-Mini models — 3/4-sized guitars that are a scaled-down version of the popular Takamine NEX shape — are fantastic as travel guitars, songwriting inspiration, or even for recording and live performance. Steve is going to end up playing his Taka-Mini a lot more than he realizes... it's addictive!

    For the rest of you, don't fret. There will be more opportunities to win from Takamine USA/Mexico in the near future!
