Don Henley Plans Fall Solo Tour

    Via USA Today, Takamine artist Don Henley will stage a North American tour this fall, shortly after the release of his new album Cass County. The 14-city Cass County Tour 2015 will begin Oct. 3 at Phoenix's Comerica Theatre. Shawn Colvin will open all dates.

    The tour will start the week after the Sept. 25 release of Cass County, Henley's first solo album in 15 years. Recorded primarily in Nashville and Dallas, the album features guest performances from Merle Haggard, Mick Jagger, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Dolly Parton and Trisha Yearwood. At a preview event in Nashville in June, Henley said Cass County is "not me trying to do the Don Henley country album. It's who I am and where I come from. It's one of those 'where I come from' albums."
